So here is the deal. I've been working quite a bit on Part 2 of Casino Vs Mario Vs Sonic and I must admit I'm quite happy with how it's turning out. Just recently however, I went back and viewed Part 1 for the hell of it and I gotta tell you, it almost killed me .__.. In all seriousness I am surprised (but happy obviously) that it's gotten a score as high as it has. It was very rough around the edges, and after two years of development I just wanted the damn thing to come to an end. So here is what I plan to do: RE-RELEASE IT!

Oh and HELL NO, I am not starting it from scratch. What I plan on doing rather is re-entering the foul depths of the .fla and fixing it up. This includes:

* Adding more dialogue.
* Extending some scenes.
* Editing some scenes/character animations that seem a little choppy.
* Fixing a couple graphical glitches I noticed.

Oh and let this also be the time I officially announce I am cancelling all my other sprite projects APART from the Casino Vs Mario Vs Sonic series! The reason for this is because I'm over sprites quite simply. So why aren't I cancelling CvMvS? Well, I've spent so much time writing it plus even though it shits me, I have enjoyed making it thus far. This fucking demon flash is here until the bitter end now!

So bottom line: I'm re-releasing Part 1 of Casino Vs Mario Vs Sonic, Part 2 will be out some time in 2010, and the final part of the series will be my last sprite flash. Kirby The Musical 2 I wasn't thrilled on making anyway, and Sonic Fucks Up was just a bunch of ideas I had, but never put to paper. As for the Kirby Collab, I might just do a drawn submission. I haven't heard anything else regarding a due date or anything so until then I'll just sit.

As part of a promotional deal, this new laptop I bought in August came with a Free Windows 7 Upgrade. I just recieved my disc in the mail today, installed it and my my it sure is pretty D:. I haven't noticed a major change in terms of performance, but it still runs circles around my old shitastic laptop. Seriously it barely ever boots up anymore. D:

Anyway back on to Flash matters. It may not seem like it, but the entire plot for my sprite series (lol) Casino Vs Mario Vs Sonic is pretty much completely written now. As for the progress of Part 2, most of the dialogue is written so I am hoping to try and get atleast the first scene voiced and animated soon. Don't expect to see this before 2010 though, it's a pretty massive episode D:. I will be recruiting some voice talent soon.

Since Part 2 is still a while off, I thought that for now in an attempt to spark interest and of course give people a better understanding on just what the hell this show is about, I thought I would release a trailer. It ain't done yet, but I'm hoping to have it done in the coming weeks! Then you can pass judgement on whether or not this is worth your time. I'll post a thread in the forums.

In the mean time, check out this sprites I have been working on for it. Not final by any means, but still D:.

Well now that study for me is over for yet another year, I shall now continue work right where I left off. Between now and the close of 2009, I hope to have two new animations done. One of those animations is a Christmas special, because lets face it, Christmas kicks ass! Well... unless you're Jewish I suppose. Since my Halloween special didn't last due to the onslaught of assignments I had due at the end of October, I plan on taking some time to make this good!

The other animation is..... not Casino Vs Mario Vs Sonic Part 2. It is gonna be a massive project, and I honestly don't see it being done until well into next year. Hopefully before June, I don't plan on taking a year to finish an episode. Instead, Sonic Fucks Up will be arriving hopefully in the next few weeks. I still need a new name for that by the way...

Anyway, Retardo's Quest hasn't gone quite that well. Then again, I kind of anticipated that! But it has done significantly better than the shitful original I made early this year. This one has over 0 favourites for one :D!

Didn't get a chance to write or voice act for it, so rather than release it late I'll just cancel it. I left my run a little too late anyway, it wouldn't have been that good if I just rushed a piece of crap for the hell of it.

Retardo's Quest is nearing completion, and so I thought I'd post a little preview from it onto here. Those who watched my Kirby The Musical flash will probably find the part at the end..... ehh kinda familiar. I ripped off my own joke D:.

The Halloween Flash is still on the cards yes.... running out of time I know. Might need to work that into the storyline or something. The full Flash of Retardo's Quest is due out next week, the Halloween Flash hopefully in the next few days max! In the mean time, here is random screen from what is done thus far.

Alright my fucking Film class is FINALLY OVER and with it, a lot of stress has been lifted off me ^0^. I can finally continue work on my animated projects and with my brand new laptop and headset at my disposal, I am dying to get into it. I have like... 3 days left for a Halloween Flash, so I may try and get something done tomorrow. In two weeks, I have Retardo's Quest due for my animation class and hell... over the past few weeks I have been absolutely filled to the brim with ideas for CvMvS. I am dying to get back into Flash and get these done. So here is my new updated plan for 2009.

CvMvS: Halloween Special - This week hopefully.
Retardo's Quest - Early-mid November.
Christmas Flash - December.
Casino Vs Mario Vs Sonic Part 2 - Late 2009 - Early 2010.

Well I am kinda boned at the moment. See my headset that managed to get me through Film is Gay, Kirby the Musical and the first part of Casino Vs Mario Vs Sonic passed away this past week, which has severely set back all my animation plans (even for my course). What's worse is that today I went out and bought a new one for $40 ($10 more then my older one) thinking it'd be able to do the job. But instead, whenever I record something, it plays back as a terrible echoy mess that is almost impossible to understand. I dunno if it's related to the mic of if it's something to do with the audio settings on my laptop, but it's a massive pain when I have so much shit to have recorded and animated in the coming weeks. If anyone has any troubleshooting for me, let me know plox <3.

Also, plans for that CvMvS-themed Halloween special are looking pretty grim as a result of this. I will definatly aim for a Christmas Flash though. As for all my other movies.... don't expect alot from me between now and the new year.

Most of the episode is now written.... thank God. Since a preview scene is not done yet, I think that for this news post I might just give you an idea of what you can expect to see in Part 2 of Casino Vs Mario Vs Sonic.

As I may or may not have mentioned, Part 1 of CvMvS was in development for over TWO years. The first episode as it is didn't take two years to make (probably about a few months all up), but planning, testing the Chao animation sequences, writing the plot and the fact I kept animating things and ended up deleting them and doing something else because I either didn't like it or it dragged on (16,000 frames sounds like a lot, but you eat through them pretty quickly) really robbed me of time. As such, Part 1 was basically pieced together scenes I didn't delete, thus why some of it didn't make sense to a few people (or it rushed through the plot very quickly). I wasn't proud of Part 1 for that reason alone, thus why I am taking appropriate measures to make Part 2 assloads better. Below I have outlined a few points about the next episode and series:

* Part 2 is being created from scratch.
* To those who think this is a rip-off of SMBZ...... stay tuned :).
* Unlike SMBZ, this series will not be created with the retarded 12 year old in mind as the target audience. This means NO overused jokes/memes or lame dialogue, plus you can expect some violence and naughty language in there too! ^0^
* Despite the movie being named "Casino Vs Mario Vs Sonic", Mario and Sonic actually have very minor rolls in most of the series.
* It's an unserious/comedy/parody adventure. Not to be taken seriously.
* Part 2 will primarily focus on plot development, as Part 1 did fuck all explaining anything.
* More voice acting/actors. I will request some voices when the script is completely written, I already have a few people in mind for a few characters.
* Mecha Sonic and Mecha Mario will NOT be in this series :SHOCK:!!

And of course I have a few movies in the works right now in addition to this. Here is my rough, uncertain plan on when you can expect to see them:

Halloween Quickie* - October 2009.
Retardo's Quest - November 2009.
Casino's Christmas Special* - December 2009.
Sonic Fucks Up* - 2009
Casino Vs Mario Vs Sonic Part 2 - 2009/2010

I honestly thought it was a joke, because I didn't think any person could be that retarded to seriously do that.
